A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a flatbed big rig in an intersection on the west end of Escondido, police said. The crash happened about 10:40 a.m. at Meyers Avenue and Barham Drive, Escondido police said.

At least one person was injured Tuesday morning in a multi-vehicle crash that closed part of the 101 Freeway in East Hollywood. Details about what led to the crash involving a big rig were not immediately available.

Both vehicles caught on fire on Clovis Avenue, near Golden State Boulevard.

All westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway at the 15 Freeway in Ontario were shut down after a big rig hit an overpass early Thursday morning, Jan. 15.
