Lego Pokémon sets debut

The Lego Pokémon Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise set is the priciest of the three initial builds, priced at $649.99. Outfitted with 6,838 pieces, the set is meant for ages $18+, and measures over 20 inches tall and 21 inches wide. Impressive? Absolutely. But, wow, that's a lot of money to fork over for a set.
You can go to the official Pokemon LEGO website to pre-order the collection, and you’ll see some key things when you do. First, Pikachu and Eevee are their own sets, meaning you’ll buy them individually.
Lego has announced three Pokémon sets, including several first-generation favourites. But it's the $999 set that everyone's talking about.
Pikachu, Eevee, Charizard, and the other Kanto starters are all getting LEGO sets. The Pokemon Company and LEGO have announced a series of new sets featuring iconic Pokemon and items from the series. The sets will arrive in time for the Pokemon franchise’s 30th anniversary in February.
