Tiger Woods was recovering from his seventh back surgery, but fans hoped to see him at his TGL 2 match against the New York Golf Club. Although the 15x major champion didn’t compete, he did show up at the SoFi Center.
It's more than a birthday party for Tiger Woods' 50th. It's also celebration of the philanthropic efforts of the TGR Foundation.
Tiger Woods is able to swing a few clubs now, but don't expect to see the 15-time major winner back anytime soon.
Tiger Woods was on hand at the SoFi Center for Tuesday’s TGL match between his Jupiter Links and the New York Golf Club. That was not enough juice for the Jupiter squad though as New York defeated them rather easily, 8-3.
Dunne and her legendary neighbor appeared to be at the same event on January 13. Dunne posted several Instagram stories of herself participating in various golf activities at a TGL event (which stands for Tomorrow's Golf League, a golf league founded by Woods) at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach.
The TGL golf league plays all its matches at the SoFi Center, a 250,000-square-foot indoor stadium in Palm Beach Gardens.
Daron Rahlves won silver behind Miller in the downhill and also a bronze in giant slalom. The Americans’ 1-2 finish in the downhill relegated Austrian standouts Michael Walchhofer and Fritz Strobl to third and fourth, respectively.
It may be some time before golf fans see Tiger Woods back on the course for a PGA Tour event, but they at least got to see the all-time great with a club in his hands.
