Reviewed on www.wayfair.ca·Stephanie
My stamped concrete patio that has a brown/bronze tint to it had become dull and lost some of its color. After applying Foundation Armor Blush treatment followed with two coats of AR500 my patio look like new even though its at least 17 years since its installation. I selected AR500 because its solvent based for longer durability and provided a nice gloss that when the sun hits it makes it sparkle. It was easy to apply with a 3/8" nap roller in my case. I did use a brush to apply between stamped stone "grout lines" and long the stacked stone sitting wall to make sure there was no over splash. I researched may brands and found Foundation Armor to be the most reasonable with great reviews. I would strongly recommend this to anyone. On last point it their customer / technical support is one of the best I have ever engaged. I called a few times with questions and they were very frank and consultative. Their web page is also very good.

Excellent concrete sealer
Reviewed on www.homedepot.com·Joe9
I just used this product on my 2 car inside concrete garage floor and cover front porch. I also used the fine extra grip and I’m very glad I did. My concrete was sealed along time ago with acrylic and had mostly wore off, so I needed to seal it but I desperately needed something with texture because the floor finish is like glass and very slippery when wet. \r\nThis product rolled on smoothly, I used a standard roller 3/8 nap and extended handle. It was 85 in the shade and was easy to track my coverage.\r\nThe texture additive does require stirring/ shaking to keep it all suspended, which is expected but it rolls out fine. \r\nI recommend reading all the instructions prior for both products they do a great job explaining everything. \r\nI’ve included several pictures. The shipping from Home Depot was very fast, 3 days, and the price was the same as other outlets. \r\nHighly recommend.

I am very happy with this product. It was a bit spendy, but I think it was worth it. I have previously used Eagle Brand concrete sealer, but the smell when it was applied was just horrible. Although the Armor AR500 definitely does have an odor, it is ten times better than the Eagle Brand and dissipates within an hour or two. I followed the directions precisely. Pressure washed my exposed aggregate concrete. Waited 24 hours. Applied the first coat with a 1/2" dust-free roller, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at a temperature of 80 degrees and falling. Waiting 24 hours and applied the second coat the same way. Waited another 24 hours before turning the sprinkler system back on. The end result is beautiful. I can't say how well it will hold up, but I'm hoping for a few years, since I did do two coats. I'm a 64-year-old woman and definitely not a handyman type. So, if I can do this, anyone can.

I used this product to seal a concrete paver pool deck, about a year old, never been sealed.\r\nI followed the publised guidelines, applied with rollers, and the experience was uneventful. Beads up with rain and keeps a gloss look. In addition, the product does a great job "locking" in the sand between paver joints. I wish I had done this when the deck was new.\r\nI applied 1st coat with 1/2" nap roller to ensure I got some excess between the paver joints, followed by 2nd coat with 3/8" nap roller.\r\nI think the spread rate for the material is a little off, as the first coat took somewhat more than I expected, but then again, I applied excess to better lock the sand between the paver joints. Also, the cure time seemed to be slightly less than what is published (which isn't a bad thing), but to be fair, I was working in Florida's good warm sunshine.

Thought this product was my best choice to apply to my concrete paver sidewalks and it was a great choice. My sidewalks have a main field of very lightly colored and surface contoured pavers, the Armor AR500 High Gloss Sealer made the colors really stand out and also highlighted the pattern on the surface. I used a combination of brush/roller in small narrow areas and sprayer(best to get a good one/roller in large areas. You can get whiffs of solvent so would be best to use a face mask or respirator. One last comment, I tried a different recommended solvent acrylic sealer a few years ago on my driveway and ended up with whitish blotches which usually means the pavers have moisture in them, but in this case it was August and no rain for weeks. I'll be ordering 10-15 gallons of the AR 500 in the Spring to do my driveway.

I have a 15 year old brick driveway that was originally a lovely three color mix, but faded terribly in the sun. I was going to use a dye, but to do each brick separately sounded like a lot of work. I decided to use AR500 High Gloss Acrylic Sealer in order to have the best chance of restoring some color to the bricks.\r\nThis sealer is the best I've ever used; it went on easily, and the color was improved at least 50%. The finish is not too glossy;l it is just right. These bricks were in good shape structurally, but as dull and dry-looking as can be.\r\nI used several different manufacturer's products in the past , but not one has produced these excellent results. \r\nBy the way, my daughter and I {two women} did the job (ages 43 and 72!!!) so that tells you a lot about ease of application!

I recently purchased a 5 gallon bucket of Foundation Armor Solvent based acrylic sealer (clear-high gloss). I used it on my back 12' x 25' patio and 3' x 40' sidewalk both are stamped concrete and approximately 16 years old. I pressure washed and then allowed to dry for a few days. Once dry I applied one coat with a 9" Nap roller and it used only about 2.5 gallons. It was very easy to apply and I was very well pleased with the restoration of the originally color and shine. I would strongly recommend this product for sealing and restoring your stamped concrete patio and sidewalks. The odor is strong but for outdoor use it is not too bad and goes away in a few days. I plan to apply a 2nd coat and I will purchase this product again in the future.

Excellent results. Have a 700 sq ft patio of tinted concrete that hadn't been sealed since poured in 2005. It was chalky from exposure to the elements and pressure washing. I thoroughly pressure washed, let the cement dry two days and applied the sealant. It was just like painting a properly prepped wall.\r\n\r\nThe cement darkened and had a sheen. I applied a second coat two weeks later to see if it would become glossier. Second coat went on faster and I could feel that I was rolling plastic on plastic. The second coat was the right choice as the difference is amazing. Rainwater now beads up and runs off better. It's much glossier.\r\n\r\nI'm going to apply another coat in the fall. I'm sure you'll be able to see the shine from space!

Wonderful product!! Researched a ton of different sealers as I have heard horror stories of applying a sealer and having bubbling, clouding, etc. The reviews for this one were overwhelmingly positive so I gave it a shot. I followed the directions to a tee. I power washed and let the stamped concrete dry for an entire day. I began sealing after 5PM as recommended when the sun was no longer over the concrete. Came out beautiful!! Dried perfectly. Was a little nervous because it rained roughly 30 hours after being applied but no issues! Completely dried and the water pooled on the surface. I only did one coat because I felt it didn’t even need the second coat. Looks amazing and very shiny. Will definitely use again for years to come!

We have a stamped concrete patio. It's in good shape but the coloring has faded and dulled. About three years ago we tried some other oil based sealer, but it didn't go on as smoothly and it didn't last long at all. So after reading the reviews for the armor AR 500 gloss sealer, I was hopeful this will be better. Overall experience experience is much better. It went on easily and smoothly. I used a 24 inch half inch nap roller. As soon as I began to apply it it made an immediate difference. It started out shiny and stayed shiny even after drying. This product is great the instructions were very thorough and simple to comprehend. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a stamped concrete patio It's like night and day!

I had a sunroom added onto my house and instead of covering the concrete with flooring I decided to Epoxy it. I was very nervous because I have never done anything like this before. I called a friend who remodels homes and he recommended Foundation Armor AR500. I was a little concerned due to the Epoxy being thin, because I put chips over the first coat and was afraid they wouldn't stick. However, I let it dry for 24hrs, put another coat of Epoxy on and it is absolutely beautiful!!! I did it! It was so easy! I will admit, the odor was very strong but would do it again and again!!! I am forever a fan and customer of Foundation Armor! I will recommend you to my friends!

I have bought this product continuously to place on my brick pavers on my large property. The product is 5 stars and is easy to apply and provides the best shine of any other product I have ever used. Do NOT buy any product from your local store because it is not the quality of this product from Foundation Armour. Local stores leave a milky sheen....this is acrylic and provides max protection and high gloss to your pavers or concrete. I love it! and so does the friends that visit me as they always ask me what I use on my pavers and concrete because it looks so amazing. I have NOT been paid for this review.

My front sidewalk is a stamped concrete which was installed when I moved into the house 7 years age. At that time it was sealed with a solvent based sealer. The sidewalk was also color infused. Over the years the sealer had worn off and the color had faded. Much to my pleasure, this product was easy to apply and has restored the look of the sidewalk. I didn't expect the color to be enhanced, but it did, and the sidewalk looks great again! Very pleased with the product. When used as per directions, it covered well. I now only have to see how well it holds up to the weather over the coming years.

I bought this to seal a stamped concrete patio, retaining wall block and concrete curbing. Worked great for all three and got the expected results I was looking for. High gloss, easy application and minor prep work. Made my neglected concrete curbing look like new again. All I did was pressure wash the surfaces and let it dry for a day and half. The instructions say to apply in the afternoon but I did it in the morning. I live in a very dry climate so I did not have issues with bubbling. I used a concrete sealer sprayer which saved a bunch of time, definitely worth the price of the sprayer.

It has been a few weeks since I applied this sealer and so far it is performing perfectly. It took me a couple weeks to really do the job correctly by power washing and allowing dry time. My garden sprayer could not spray the material well, so I poured and brushed. I had to cover a lot of floor and walls, and one 5 gallon can went very far. I applied 2 coats and the water beads and looks very good. I added the no slip powder and it works. In the areas that kids might run, I sprinkled it on top of the sealer while wet. I think this will provide a protective coat for a very long time.

Have tried numerous " BIG BOX" store brands over the last several years and was always disgusted with the appearance after just a few weeks. I applied one gallon on 320 square feet of stamped concrete patio 30 days ago and the look is fantastic. I will be adding a 2nd coat soon. The first coat will be absorbed quickly and may not give you the coverage that you want. I would recommend a 2nd coat to make it shine. I did apply 2 coats to a set of steps and they look great, just like being wet all the time... As they say, you get what you pay for, this product is well worth the money.

I bought three 5 gallon cans of AR 350 and applied with a roller on a 300 sf previously sealed concrete driveway + walkway. Two 5 gallons were completely used with one coat application. It went on well and the smell went away after some time. It looks very nice and I am happy with the purchase.\r\n\r\nWill recoat the surface in a couple of years.\r\n\r\nI did return the coarse non-skid powder back as it was too rough and could not be mixed with AR350 while applying with one coat. I used Sherwin-Williams non-skid powder that easily mixed with the sealer. This worked well.

Last year we used AR350 and this year we tried the AR500 because we wanted a little more gloss. We were not disappointed. The gloss finish is not like hardwood floors, but it provided us with that little bit of shine we were looking for on our pavers. Since this was the second year in a row using Foundation Armor, we noted that the it was still sealed from the previous year and we needed much less product. We now have plenty of product left over and plan on resealing it again next year. Highly recommend both products, but if you want the extra shine go with the AR500.

I have used this product to seal my pavers 3 times in the last 6 or 7 years. Best product I have found so far. I've used the 'best' products big box stores sell and none come close to this. I powerwash, wait a few days and apply with a roller using 3/4 nap cover to make sure I hit the groves and pits. I always apply 2 coats. Rolls on smooth and very easy to apply. Smells for about 3 days then dissipates. This stuff lasts longer than other products and really brings out the color and shine on my older pavers. Well worth the extra money for this quality product.

Product is very easy to apply- I sprayed with a pump sprayer and the wife rolled it out with a paint roller. Beautiful results! It really brought out the color of our stamped concrete, which had faded over time. Also, the gloss can't be beat. Being we live in California, we had to purchase the AR500, which is a lower VOC formula. It still has quite a strong solvent odor, which lasted for approximately 3 days. If you are applying this upwind of your house, be sure to keep your windows closed! Very impressed with the product!

I purchased another product (won't mention the name) and sealed everything In June 2019. The finish lasted about 1 year or less. I decided to purchase this product. First the odor is much less than the other product. It went on much easier and the finished product looks amazing. It was a lot thinner than I thought it would be which made the job easier and quicker.\r\nThe final result was great. The smooth pavers had a wet gloss look when dried and the rougher patio pavers had just the wet look but the original color came out. I'm sure with a second application it would have more of a gloss but I'm satisfied with the result with one coat.
