As we head into the last section of 1 Thessalonians, we find Paul’s instructions to “rejoice always, give thanks in every circumstance, and pray without ceasing”. In Deuteronomy, there’s a warning to be careful to not forget to rejoice in the days of prosperity. We are living in those days of prosperity right now, as children of the King.
